This 28 storey city centre commercial building had extensive areas of concrete spalling on the facades that required remediation. Work was undertaken by rope access technicians, utilising custom built catch nets, and supported by workers in the building maintenance unit. Standard concrete repair mortar was used, combined with a cover of coloured aggregate mix to blend in with the existing structure. Multiple samples were produced, resulting in repairs that were barely distinguishable from adjacent areas.
