Burleigh Theatre

The heritage listed Old Burleigh Theatre Arcade awning’s steel framing and tie rods had severe corrosion and posed a risk to pedestrians on the footpath below. The tie rods were replaced, and the existing steelwork was remediated & coated with an industrial protective coating system, suitable for a marine environment. Temporary props were installed to eliminate the risk of collapse and facilitate the installation of new tie rods. Footpath traffic and access to the shops below were maintained at all times.
